Betty Lou Jones

Betty Lou Jones, age 91, of Bethpage, TN, passed away on Friday, March 14, 2025. She was born February 28, 1934 in McKee, KY to the late Wiley Skinner and Ollie Lainhart Skinner.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Lee Jones; her sisters, Irene Baty and Virginia Skinner; her brothers, James Jimmy Skinner and Wiley Jr. Skinner; and her grandchild, DeVon Jones.

She is survived by her daughters, Deanna (Buddy) Goodrum and Vicky Jones; her grandchildren, Wayne (Leslie) Goodrum, Ashley (Logan) Dickens and Joy Key; her great grandchildren, Kendell Goodrum, Joey Blair, Josie Blair, Jordan Goodrum and Tuff Dickens; as well as her sister, Bonnie Meltvedt.

Funeral services for Mrs. Jones will be conducted on Tuesday, March 18th, 2025 at 1PM from the chapel of Woodard Funeral Home with Bro. Donnie Goodrum officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Vernon Cemetery. The family will receive visitors on Monday, March 17th, 2025 from 1PM till 8PM and again on Tuesday, March 18th, 2025 from 10AM till service time at 1PM at Woodard Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers the family request you make donations to the Mt. Vernon Cemetery. These can be made at the office of Woodard Funeral Home.
