Betty Ruth Cox Hess

Ms. Betty Ruth Hess, age 89, of Indianapolis, IN, passed away on January 28, 2022.

She is survived by her children, Brenda (Brian) Berry, Steven (Rita) Cox, Lisa Cox Ridgeway, David (Marychi) Cox, James (Mary)` Cox and Charles (Katherine) Hess; her grandchildren, Eric, Michael, Steven, Rhiannon, Melissa, Gary, Amber, Ryan, Danette, Sarah, Christopher, Grant and Cole; 17 Great-grandchildren;and her brothers, Glenn (Diane) Harrison and Travis (Paula) Harrison.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Wiley Leslie and Lillie Selma Harrison; her grandson, Jeffrey Wayne Berry; her brother, D.C. Harrison; her sisters, Bonnie Harrison and Helen Harrison Knight; and the father of her children, James Willard "Woody" Cox.

The service for Mrs. Betty Hess will be held on Saturday, February 5, at 1:00 PM at Woodard Funeral Home with Bro. Willie B. Lyles officiating. Interment will follow in Siloam Cemetery.

Visitation: Friday, February 4, at 4:00 - 8 PM and on Saturday at 11 AM -1 PM at Woodard Funeral Home.
