Betty Sue Hammock

Mrs. Betty Hammock, age 83, of Westmoreland, TN passed away on August 7, 2022. She was born August 27, 1938 to the late Lucian and Selma Summers Carter in Sumner County, TN.

Mrs. Betty is survived by her son and his wife, Gary (Martha) Hammock; sister, Judy (James) Williams; brothers, Jerry Carter and Tom (Carolyn) Carter; sister, Lillian (Joe) Johnson; grandchildren, Gary (Tabitha) Hammock II and Jake (Brenda)Hammock; great-grandchildren, Kora Hammock, Jett Hammock and Kanati Hammock; as well as several nephews and nieces.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, 5 months and 8 days, Don Q. Hammock; her sons, Bill Hammock and Donald Ray Hammock; and her brothers, Ed Carter and Dan Carter.

The service for Mrs. Betty Hammock will be held on Friday, at 12:00 PM at Woodard Funeral Home with Bro. Roy Shockley and Bro. Tim Williams officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Grove General Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation: Thursday, at 4:00 until 8:00 PM at Woodard Funeral Home and Friday from 10:00 AM until service time at 12:00 PM.
