Cecil Odell Farris

Cecil Odell Farris, age 83, of Westmoreland passed away Saturday, September 05, 2015. Funeral services for Mr. Farris will be conducted Tuesday, September 08, 2015 at 2:00 PM from Woodard Funeral Home with Bro. Tim Williams and Bro. Randy Andrews officiating. Interment to follow in Sumner Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Monday, September 07, 2015 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Tuesday, September 08, 2015 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Woodard Funeral Home.

Mr. Farris was retired from Pierelli Tire Handler Manufacturing. Mr. Farris also served served in the United States Army during the Korean War.

He was preceded in death by his parents Sammie Elbert Farris and Cleo Bilyeu Farris, Brother- Ernest Farris, Brother- Norman Farris, Sister- Villa Sanders, and Sister- Ruby Langford.

Mr. Farris is survived by Wife - Shirley Farris, Westmoreland, TN, Son - Doyle( Gail) Farris, Gallatin, TN, Son - Darrell( the late Sharon Farris) Farris, Westmoreland, TN, Grand Child - Matthew ( Amber) Farris, Grand Child - Dustin ( Amy) Farris, Grand Child - Alyssa ( Cody) Jenkins, Grand Child - Lindsey Farris, Great Grand Child - Austin Farris, Great Grand Child - Kylie Farris, Great Grand Child - Hagen Jenkins, Great Grand Child - Gage Jenkins, Great Grand Child - Ty Farris, Brother- Homer Farris of Kokomo, Ill and Sister- Berna Lou Grant of Kokomo, Ill

In lieu of Flowers the family requests memorial contributions in the form of donations be made to Providence General Baptist Church or the Westmoreland Food Bank
