Christine Frances Peterson

Christine "Tina" Frances Olson Peterson (widowed), was born in Palmer, MA on November 07, 1948 to the late Frederick Christian Olson and Nellie Frances Grout Olson.  She worked on her family’s farm and later with handicap adults at HATS for many years.  She enjoyed her family and friend’s visits, cooking, gardening, fishing and watching all those Humming Birds!

She is survived by her longtime companion, Thomas "Wormy" Harris; her children, Sue Custance (Jason) of Brimfield, MA,

Jerry Peterson, JR (Amy) of Summerville, SC, and Kelly Peterson (Gabriel Mansfield) of Stafford Springs, CT; her 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; her brothers, David Olson (Shelly), Frederick Olson, JR, Nathan Olson (Holly) and Raymond Olson (Cindy); as well as her sister, Marilyn Olson Watson; and many nephews and nieces.

In addition to her parents, Tina was preceded in death by her sister, Priscilla Olson Rogers.

Funeral services for Mrs. Peterson will be conducted Wednesday, January 18th, 2024 at 11AM from the chapel of Woodard Funeral Home with Bro. Matt Boren officiating.  Interment will follow in the Crestview Memorial Park.  Serving as active pallbearers will be Donald Harris, Jr., Jason "Bubba" Harris, Jerry Peterson, Jr., Key Harris, Nathan Olson and Tyler Hodges.  The family will receive visitors on Tuesday, January 17th from 1PM till 8PM and again on Wednesday, January 18th from 9AM till service time at 11AM at Woodard Funeral Home.
