David Allen Hammock

Mr. David Allen Hammock, age 68 of Mt. Juliet (formerly Westmoreland), passed away Wed. Aug. 24th. Funeral services for Mr. Hammock will be conducted on Saturday, Aug. 27th @ 2PM from the chapel of Woodard Funeral Home with Bro. Larry Sloan officiating. Interment will follow in Pleasant Grove Cemetery. The family will receive visitors on Fri. Aug. 26th from 12PM-9PM and on Sat. Aug. 27th from 10AM-service time.

Mr. Hammock was a member of Garretts Creek General Baptist Church. He was retired from Avco as a Machinist.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dewey and Inez Cook Hammock; and his brother, Baxter Coker.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda Joyce Morris Hammock of Mt. Juliet; his sons, Michael & (Kim) Hammock of Mt. Juliet and Patrick & (Nicole) Hammock of LaVergne; his brother, Wayne Hammock of Westmoreland; his sisters, Jane Graybill of Toledo, OH and Elizabeth "Bet" Graybill of Roanoke, VA; and his seven grandchildren.
