David Patrick Alvis

David Patrick Alvis, age 78, of Hendersonville, TN, passed away October 4, 2024. He was born August 2, 1946 Indianapolis, IN to the late James "Jim" Carvin and Betty Marie Duckworth.

He was a United States Army Veteran.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Alvis was preceded in death by his adoptive father, Robert C. Alvis; his wife, Donna Kay Alvis; and his grandson, Austin Joseph Dundee.

He is survived by his children, Stacy Alvis Owen, Chadwick David Alvis, Zachary Ryan Alvis and Shea Michael Alvis; her grandchildren, Jocy Marie Owen, Joshua Lee Owen, Jr, Landen Evan Davidson, Jackson Chadwick, McKenna Katherine, Maxwell Ryan and Olivia Aileen Alvis; and her great-grandchildren, Delilah Lace, Joseph Kash and Autumn Jolene.

The arrangements for Mr. Alvis will be posted as soon as they become available. 

The family has entrusted Woodard Funeral Home with the care of their loved one.
