Mrs. Dorothy Jean "Dot" White, age 71, of Westmoreland, TN passed away on May 27, 2024.
Dorothy is survived by her husband, James White; her sons, Billy Reed and Franklin Lloyd White (Tonya); her daughters, Alicia Dawn Logue (Justin) and Misty Renea Jackson (Jonathan); her sister, Wanda Capley; sister-in-law, Linda McKee; 11 Grandchildren and 24 Great-grandchildren; and a special mention to her caregivers, Jenny Morgan and Landi Shrum.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Cayto and Katherine McKee; her brother, Mike McKee; grandson, William "Will" Reed IV; and great-grandson, Wyatt Reed.
The service for Mrs. Dorothy White will be held on Thursday, at 1:00 PM at Woodard Funeral Home with Bro. Leon Graves officiating. Entombment will follow in Sumner Memorial Gardens, Gallatin, TN. Visitation with the family will begin on Wednesday from 1:00 - 7:00 PM and on Thursday from 9:00 AM until service time at 1:00.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorial donations be made to the MS Society or to St. Jude's Children's Hospital. These can be made by calling or coming by the office at Woodard Funeral Home.
The family has entrusted Woodard Funeral Home with the arrangements of their loved one. "Serving you as we would like to be served."
