Douglas McArthur Mounts

Douglas Mounts, age 82, passed away on November 21, 2024, in Bethpage, TN. He was born in Freeburn, KY to the late Flannery and Naomi Mounts.

Mr. Mounts was a farmer and a singer with the Misty Mountain Boys whom he performed with on the Grand Ole Opry and many other venues.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Jo Mounts; sons, Ronald Mounts (Shelia) and Daniel Mounts; his Four Brothers and Sisters; Five Grandchildren; and Two Great-grandchildren.

Cremation was chosen and there will be no service at this time. 

The family have entrusted Woodard Funeral Home with the care of their loved one.
