He was preceded in death by his father, Eleazar Acevedo, Sr.

He is survived by his wife, Carrie Miles Acevedo; his children, Angelica, Eleazar "Alex" Xavier, Joe Anthony, Zoe and Heaven-Lei; his mother, Herlinda Trevino; his sisters, Jenatte Guererro, Sandra Acevedo Flores and Veronica Guererro; and his brother, Alfonso Gurerro.
