Fay Dell West

Mrs. Fay Dell Franklin West, age 89, of Westmoreland, passed away August 22, 2011 at Westmoreland Care and Rehab Center. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, Aug. 24th at 2PM from the chapel of Woodard Funeral Home with Eld. Ronald Lawrence and Eld. Jeff Patterson officiating. Interment will follow in Sumner Memorial Gardens. The family will recieve visitors on Tuesday, from 2PM-8PM and Wednesday from 10AM-service time.

Mrs. West was retired from Westmoreland Manufacturing. She was a member of Friendship Primitive Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Samuel and Hattie Grisom Franklin; her husband, Fred Wilson West; her son, Gary West; and he two grandsons, Darrell and Derrick Hester.

Mrs. West is survived by her children, Paul & (Diane) West of White House, Gayle Hester of Portland, Tommy & (Carolyn) West of Gallatin, Harold & (Pamela) West and Ricky West both of Westmoreland; her fifteen grandchildren, twenty-eight great-grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
