Gertie Heloise White age 96 of the Siloam community,
passed away Friday May 10, 2013 at Brandywood Nursing Home in Gallatin, TN.

Funeral services for Gertie Heloise White will be held Monday, May 13, 2013 at 1:00 PM from Woodard Funeral Home with Bro. Kevin Harrisonand officiating.

Interment will follow in Eulia Cemetery.

Visitation will be: Saturday, May 11, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Sunday, May 12, from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM and Monday, May 13, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM Service Time at Woodard Funeral Home.

Ms. Gertie was born on March 14, 1917 in Westmoreland, TN. The daughter of Aubrey Ordell Lyles & Nola Glen Lyles. She was united in marriage to Genie H. White, on April 16, 1938. She accepted Christ as her Savior at an early age, and was a faithful member of Eulia General Baptist Church. She was a kind, caring, and generous lady. She was always ready to help family, friends, and neighbors.

Gertie is Survived by her son, Larry G. White; Granddaughter, Janet K. Boles; Son-in-law Martin Boles; twin Great-grandsons, Jarred & Ethan Boles. Nieces: Joyce Hammock, Wanda Boone, Denise Etheridge, and Peggy Hill. Nephews: Jack Cox & Nicky Cox. Neighbors: Nancy Sullivan & Tina Wolfe.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Genie White; Parents, Aubrey & Nola Lyles; sisters, Annie Akin & Christine Cox.
