John August Velez, age 51, of Hendersonville, TN, passed away on October 7, 2021. He was born on October 28, 1969 in Decatur, IN.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Marilyn Kirchner.

He is survived by his daughters, Megan (Malcolm) Moon, Robin Velez and Mason Velez; his grandchildren, Leo, Kai and Eli Moon; his father, Rodney Velez; his brother, Fred (Jill) Velez; his sister, Laurie Velez; and his former wife, Valerie Velez.

Funeral services for Mr. Velez will be conducted on Thursday, October 14th at 10AM from the chapel of Woodard Funeral Home, Westmoreland, TN.
