Lois Kittrell

Mrs. Lois Kittrell, age 90, of Westmoreland, TN, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 20, 2023.  She was born September 1, 1933 to the late Charlie Henry West and Carrie Belle Scruggs West in Difficult Community of Smith County, TN.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edd Kittrell.

She is survived by her loving children, Diane Kittrell (friend, Randell), Denese (Billy) Sadler and Michael Kittrell; her grandchildren, Donielle (Chris) Walker, Daniel (Brittiny) Sadler, Joseph Kyle (Lindsey) Kittrell and John Michael (Rose) Kittrell; and her great-grandchildren, Grayson, Braelyn, Lincoln, Josephine, Abigail, Henry, Jamison, Colt and Esmeralda.

Lois was a saved as a young girl and a faithful member of Siloam Missionary Baptist Church for many years.  She was married to the late Edward "Edd" Kittrell and to this union was born three children, Diane, Denese and Michael.  She was a loving and wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend to so many.

Funeral services for Mrs. Kittrell will be conducted on Saturday, December 23rd, 2023 at 12PM from the chapel of Woodard Funeral Home with Bro. Jeff Blackwell officiating.  Interment will follow at 2PM in the Defeated Creek Memorial Gardens in Defeated Creek community of Smith County.  The family will receive visitors on Friday, December 22nd from 10AM till 8PM and again on Saturday, December 23rd from 9AM till service time at 12PM at Woodard Funeral Home.  Serving as active pallbearers will be Daniel, Kyle, John, Ricky, Jeff, Grayson and Lincoln.
