Marvin "Chubby" Simons, Jr.

Mr. Marvin Young Simons, Jr, better known as "Chubby", age 78, of Westmoreland, TN passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by his family, on Sunday, October 2, 2022. Chubby was born on March 28, 1944 to the late Marvin Young Simons Sr. and Ivie Lillian Miller Simons.

Chubby was a life-long truck driver and mechanic, a jack of all trades. He was always willing to lend a helping hand or offer the shirt off his back to both friends and strangers.

He is survived by his devoted and loving wife of 45 years, Karen Simons; daughter, Dana (Marie) Simons: son, Chad (Shana) Simons: daughter, Keshia Troutt and son, CJ (Robin) Simons; adored grandchildren, Amber (John) Sexton, Steven (Macy) Sexton, Trina Sexton, Jessica (Ace) Scott, Heather (Dylan) Driver, Josh Simons, Naveah Troutt, Avery Simons, Addy Simons, Auburn Simons and Keagan Simons; sister, Judy Wix; 10 great-grandchildren; as well as many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

In addition to his parents, he is proceeded in death by many loving family and friends.

The service for Mr. Marvin Chubby Simons will be held on Friday, at 2:00 PM at Woodard Funeral Home.

Visitation: Thursday, at 11:00 AM - 8:00 PM at Woodard Funeral Home and on Friday 9:00 AM - service time at 2:00 PM.

Memorial donations can be made in Marvin's name to the Westmoreland Food Bank.
