Paul Junior "Granny" Graves, of Beech Grove, Indiana (formerly of Westmoreland, TN)passed away on Thursday April 30, 2020. Paul was born August 25, 1931 in Westmoreland, Tennessee to the late Mamie (Sadler) Graves and John Willie Graves. He is also preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ruth Graves. He was a member of Cornerstone Church of the Nazarene where he was an active member. He cared for the property at his prior church and enjoyed working on cars as a self taught mechanic in his free time. Many of the cars he worked on got more attention being fixed up than he actually spent driving them. He also enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing in his younger years. Paul worked over 30 years at American Precast Concrete, where he earned the nickname "Granny" for his love of the Beverly Hillbillies and his favorite character.
Paul is survived by his son, Paul Graves (Rachel); daughter, Marcia Hoskins (Charles "Chuck"); sister, Frances Graves; grandchildren, Mendy Church (Jacob), Cheyenne Moore (Rob), Chanel Graves, Brittany Morrison, Travis Hoskins, and Chris Hoskins (Sara); and 11 great grandchildren.
Due to the Covid-19 virus restrictions, there will be a drive through visitation and viewing at New Hope Cemetery on Monday, May 11th from 11AM-12PM and a private family graveside to follow at 12PM from the cemetery.
