Rev. Jimmy Anderson

Rev. Jimmy Anderson, age 83, of Westmoreland, passed away on September 24, 2022. He was born to Johnny and Nell Anderson on March 18, 1939.

Rev. Jimmy served as a minister for over 50 years and was a faithful member of Mt. Moriah General Baptist Church.

He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Joyce Anderson; daughter, Patricia (Victor) Creasy; son, Steve (Tracy) Anderson; son-in-law, Terry Swindle; grandchildren, Felisha Jackson, Amy Creasy, Chase McCloud, Josh Swindle, Thad Creasy, Eli Creasy, Brett Anderson and Chapel Key; and 9 great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Lori Swindle; and his brothers,  Ray Anderson, Larry Anderson and Billy Anderson.

The service for Rev. Jimmy Anderson will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 27 at 12:00 PM at Oak Grove General Baptist Church with Bro. Don Key, Bro. Steve Anderson, Bro. Glen Jenkins, Bro. Victor Creasy and Bro. Ryan Jackson officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Church Cemetery.

Visitation: Monday, Sept. 26 at 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Woodard Funeral Home and on Tuesday, Sept. 27 at 9:00 AM to service time at 12:00 PM at Oak Grove General Baptist Church .
