Theda Rhea Spears

Mrs. Theda Rhea Baskerville Spears, age 79 of Bethpage, TN, passed away Sunday, September 20, 2020.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Spears will be conducted on Wednesday, September 23, 2020 at 11:00 AM from Woodard Funeral Home with Bro. Dusty Bradley and Bro. Dewayne Hall officiating. Interment will follow in Bradley Cemetery.

The family will receive visitors on Tuesday, September 22, 2020 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and on Wednesday, September 23, 2020 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Woodard Funeral Home.

Theda was married to W.T. Spears for 63 years and they have 4 daughters. Theda was born on July 16, 1941 in Sumner County, TN to the late Wade and Cammie Branham Baskerville.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Rachel Abel; her sisters, Dorothy Brown, Lucille Brown, Virginia Perry and Peggy Smith; her brothers, Bobby, James and Junior Baskerville.
She is survived by her daughters, Glenda & (Bobby) Abel, Melisa & (Randy) Graves, Freda & (Edwin) Robertson and Vicky Spears; her grandchildren, Robby Abel, Chastidy & (Keith) Simpson and Joey & (Raina) Graves; her great-grandchildren, Landon, Skyler, & Seanna Simpson, Gabriel, Lucas, & Miranda Graves, and Virginia and Elaine Abel; her brothers, Billy and Michael Baskerville; her sisters, Anita Perry and Connie & (John B.) Gaither; and her aunt, Johnnie Perry.
Theda loved her family and her church family. She loved cooking and having family and friends to visit. Theda was saved at Rock Bridge Missionary Baptist Church when she was 12 years old. She later joined Maple Grove Missionary Baptist Church where she had been a member for over 50 years. She will be greatly missed by her friends and family.
