Thelma Allene Dotson

Ms. Thelma Allene Gilliam Dotson, age 92 currently of Livingston (life long resident of Westmoreland), passed away Monday, June 27, 2011 at Overton County Nursing Home in Livingston, TN. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, June 30, 2011 at 2PM from the Chapel of Woodard Funeral Home with Bro. Guthrie Thompson officiating. Interment will follow in Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Mike Williams, Dewayne Adcock, Donovan Cannon, Jerry Kirby, Kenny Creasy and Colby Williams.

Ms. Dotson was a retired beautician and owned her own beauty salon in Westmoreland until her retirement. She was a member of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Eslie Arnett and Mary Laura Bransford Gilliam; and her husband, Jefferson Cornwell Dotson.

She is survived by a host of cousins; her caregiver for 11 years, Freeda Porter of Livingston; and her dear friend of many years, Mike Williams and Family of Westmoreland.
