Virginia Estella Summers

Mrs. Virginia Estella Boren Summers, age 65 of Westmoreland, passed away Tuesday, March 29, 2011 at her residence. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, Apr. 2, 2011 at 2PM from the Chapel of Woodard Funeral Home with Bro. Donald Huntsman and Bro. Eugene Mays officiating. Interment will follow in Fairfield Cemetery. Pallbearers will be William L. Summers, Raymond L. Summers, Mickey Summers, Beau Summers, Terry Smith, Joey Smith and Charlie Johnson. The family will receive visitors on Thurs. from 5PM-9PM, Fri. from 10AM-9PM and Sat. 10AM-service time.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edgar and Velvie Bell Boren; brothers, Bobby Jean Boren and James C. Boren; and sister, Imodean Mandrell.

She is survived by her husband, Everett "Jam up" Summers of Westmoreland; and her brother, Johnny Boren of Westmoreland.

Mrs. Summers was retired from Perry's Crossroads restaurant as a cook. She was a member of Bethpage General Baptist Church.
