Willard Stephens

Mr. Willard Smith Stephens, age 94, was born on January 1, 1927 in Simpson County, KY.  He departed this life on Sunday, April 4, 2021. Funeral services for Mr. Stephens will be conducted on Thursday, April 8th at 1PM from Lakeside Church of God of Prophecy with Bro. Chris Weathers and Bro. Leon Graves officiating.  Interment will follow in the New Hope Cemetery. The family will receive visitors on Wednesday, April 7th from 4PM-8PM at Woodard Funeral Home and again on Thursday, April 8th from 9AM till service time at 1PM at Lakeside Church of God. Mr. Willard is survived by wife of 75 years, Aline Stephens; son, Bill & (Linda) Stephens; daughter Brenda Kay Holmes; grandchildren, Jimmy Keith (LeeAnn) Holmes, Kendra (Ron) Ledbetter, Wendy (Frank Haddock, Jr.) Cook, Kelli (Greg) Pridham and Anthony Miller; great-grandchildren, Felisha Cook, Marissa Cook, Randon Cook, Tray Ross, Tyler Ross, Cody Holmes, Leah Holmes, Wyatt Holmes, Sarah Pridham, Emily Pridham, Brooke Miller and  Austin Miller; great great grandchildren,  Ellie Miller, Gracie Miller and RaeLynn Ross; and his sister, Katherine Likens. Willard is preceded in death by his parents, Coy Wade Smith Stephens and Mae Earl Johnson Miller; son, Rocky Smith Stephens; grandson, Randy Leith Holmes; brothers, Louis Stephens and Bobby Summers; and his sister, Viola Thompson.
